Walk in the Park
Anne took this photo yesterday in Sacramento’s 84-year-old “rock garden” built during the Great Depression. That’s me with the white hair being guided by Leo and Molly as they follow the trail of new scents.

A Yellow Surprise
Last winter I cut some green succulents that were spreading on our driveway and placed them in the backyard. Actually, I dropped them in dirt and forgot about them. These amazing succulents now have bright yellow flowers that have taken over this once neglected patch of soil, a fitting tribute to Earth Day.
